Did They Learn About Human Rights?
This European Union funded report assesses the knowledge gained by the participants during human rights workshops conducted in 14 districts of Nepal.
A random sampling of 25% of workshop participants showed an overall 20 % knowledge gain on four topics (Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Convention on the Rights of the Child, Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women and International Humanitarian Law) which were taught during the workshops.

This study was produced in 1985, just prior to the advent of Nepal T.V. The analysis of audience preferences helped shape the directions in which Nepal TV developed in its early years. This was a pioneering work of its time.

This report produced by Bella Mody in 1984 assesses the need for communication inputs to support the development of women in Nepal. It proposed the establishment and development of interactive communication system between the rural women folk and the centre to enhance the status of women in Nepal.
